Savills appoints Winnie Wong as managing director for property management business
Savills Property Management has made a leadership change, and named Winnie Wong as its managing director in a Jan 17 press release. Chris Marriott, CEO of Savills South East Asia, stated that the firm is hugely grateful for the strong foundation Chan Kok Hong has built over the years. While Chan will step away from the day-to-day management, he will continue to offer his expertise to the management team as a senior consultant.
Wong has been with Chan Kok Hong Property Consultants since 2003, and the firm merged with Savills in 2011. Wong has served as Chan’s deputy for the past two decades, and is well-positioned to take over the reins of Savills Property Management.
Moreover, Savills Property Management has also announced the promotion of Tang Chee Charn to deputy managing director. Tang will be responsible for the firm’s expansion into commercial strata and industrial properties.
Marcus Loo, CEO of Savills Singapore, remarked that Wong and Tengah EC Tang’s appointments will elevate Savills Property Management to a new level, in order to continue to strengthen capabilities and build on the strong track record of their residential strata properties portfolio. He added that Chee Charn’s role in expanding into the commercial and industrial asset classes is very much in-line with the strategy for Savills.
Overall, the changes in leadership illustrate Savills Property Management’s commitment to continuing to offer quality services.
