Sceneca Residence opens for preview on Jan 1 as the first new launch of 2023

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, joint developers MCC Singapore, Ekovest Development and The Place Holdings will be opening Sceneca Residence for viewing. This 268-unit condominium is a part of the larger Sceneca mixed-use development which includes the 20,000 sq ft Sceneca Square retail mall. The launch of the project will occur two weeks later on January 14. Situated at Tanah Merah Kechil Link, Sceneca will be connected to the Tanah Merah MRT Station via a sheltered linkway. According to MCC Singapore’s CEO Tan Zhiyong, Sceneca Square is a long-awaited mall for the Tanah Merah area, providing an area for commuters, shoppers, visitors and nearby residents to come together. MCC Singapore and its partners won the land sale for the site in November 2020 with a bid of $248.99 million. This is the third mixed-use development by MCC Singapore, following The Poiz Residences and Centre and One Bernam in Tanjong Pagar. Sceneca is designed by award-winning ADDP Architects, with a terracotta façade and modern steel details, which is expected to become an iconic landmark of Tanah Merah. It has a mix of one- to four-bedroom units with sizes ranging from 463 sq ft to 1,518 sq ft. Prices start from $958,000 and go up to $2.985 million for a four-bedroom. The retail mall, Sceneca Square, will feature cafes, restaurants, shops, and a 10,000 sq ft supermarket. There will also be an event plaza hosting pop-up stalls and bazaars. The condominium offers 48 facilities, including a 50m lap pool, family lounge, clubhouse and function room. Every residential unit is also equipped with bathroom and kitchen fixtures from top international brands. The project is conveniently located near malls, universities, and schools, appealing to both singles and families.
