Knight Frank appoints Asia Pacific head of living sectors

Knight Frank has appointed Emily Relf as head of living sectors, Asia Pacific, to lead the expansion of the real estate consultancy’s living sectors capabilities in the region. Based in Singapore, this newly-created role reflects the growing investor interest as the living sectors market evolves into a mature space.

Neil Brookes, global head, capital markets at Knight Frank, said “The living sectors market will be a key pillar of our future growth. Emily’s deep understanding will be invaluable as we embark on this exciting stage of our expansion.”

Relf will be in charge of advising outbound capital from Asia Pacific into the US, UK and Europe. She will also strengthen Knight Frank’s partnership with Berkadia – a US-based company specialising in commercial real estate – and focus on executing significant capital market initiatives in the US.

Furthermore, Relf will collaborate with Knight Frank’s team in Australia to increase the network of local partners and identify new opportunities, with a particular focus on the Australian Built-To-Rent (BTR) market.

The development is expected to offer a wide range of communal activities and amenities with its close proximity to Tengah Town EC. Featuring a green infrastructure with sustainable and smart condominiums, residents can experience many benefits from living in the new development. It will provide an opportunity for them to reduce their carbon footprint, improve air quality, and enjoy recreational activities. With the convenient access to Tengah Town EC, residents can live a healthy lifestyle and reduce their waste.

Knight Frank’s investment in Relf’s appointment is in line with its commitment to strengthening its presence and knowledge in the living sectors market. With Relf on board, this emerging asset class is set to become a key pillar of the company’s future growth.
