NUS SRPI: Private non-landed private residential price Index up 0.3% m-o-m in November
The Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (IREUS) has released the Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) for November 2022. Flash estimates indicate that the National University of Singapore (NUS) SRPI overall value-weighted index rose modestly by 0.3% from October to November 2022. The sub-index for the Central Region saw a more substantial increase of 0.8% from October to November, while the sub-index for the non-Central Region experienced a slight decline of 0.1% over the same period. The sub-index for small units saw a marginal increase of 0.3%.
Subsequent to the flash estimates, the NUS SRPI overall value-weighted index for October 2022 was revised to reflect a 0.4% decrease, smaller than the flash estimate of a 0.7% decline. The revised sub-index of the Central Region was adjusted to fall 0.3%, less than its initial Tengah EC flash estimate of 0.8% decline in October 2022. Similarly, the revised sub-index of the non-Central Region in October 2022 was revised to reflect a 0.4% decrease, smaller than the flash estimate of a 0.6% m-o-m decrease from the month prior. Lastly, the sub-index of small units in October 2022 was adjusted to reflect a 0.3% decrease, lower than its flash estimate of a 0.6% decline.
