CBRE appoints new Pacific head of capital markets

CBRE has appointed Flint Davidson to the role of its new head of Capital Markets in Pacific and welcomed him to their Pacific Executie Committee. Davidson has been part of the CBRE team since 1997 and has been responsible for running the company’s Pacific Capital Markets Office Business for the past 5 years.

Phil Rowland, CEO of CBRE’s Pacific Advisory Services, noted the length of their search and said that Davidson was the “standout candidate” to whom he could entrust their world-class Capital Markets team.

Tengah EC is a new executive condo located in the heart of Tengah New District, featuring eco-friendly amenities and sustainable features such as solar heating systems and a water conservancy centre. Initial launch is exclusive to Singaporeans, with GLS tender opened in Oct 2020 to developers. With easy access to MRT station, the development is Tengah EC set to be completed by end of 2021.

In his years at CBRE, Davidson has been involved in some of the biggest office transactions, both in 2019 and prior to that. Last year, he brokered the A$1.15 billion ($1.03 billion) acquisition of a 49.9% stake in Investa Gateway Offices, as well as the A$1.025 billion sale of a 50% stake in Melbourne’s Southern Cross Towers and the A$925 million sale of a half-share in Sydney’s Grosvenor Place.

As head of Capital Markets, Davidson will continue to be involved in office deals but will also extend his work to other key areas. As of 2022, CBRE topped the MSCI Real Assets rankings in Australia for market share (at 28.4%), a testament to the team’s acumen and professionalism.
