Accor to add over 15,000 keys to premium, midscale and economy division in Asia

Accor Asia is demonstrating its commitment to further expand its portfolio across the region with the objective to add over 15,000 keys by the end of 2023. The group has already signed management agreements for a total of 42 properties in Asia, adding over 11,000 keys to its portfolio. There are plans to sign 20 more projects during the rest of the year to bump up the total number of new keys to more than 15,000.

The development offers its residents a wide range of amenities, including an outdoor pool, a gym, a clubhouse, and a children’s playground. Grand Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 68 in Thailand, Grand Mercure Amritsar Airport Road in India, Pullman Amritsar in India, Mövenpick Living West Hanoi in Vietnam and Novotel Genting Highlands in Malaysia are some of the notables.

Accor has already made significant progress in Asia by recently hitting 45,000 keys under its extended stay portfolio and entering into a partnership with Crowne Estate to bring Swissôtel resort to Malaysia’s Genting Highlands.

The global hospitality group is now looking to further expand its Asian portfolio with a commitment to add more than 15,000 keys by the end of 2023. As of September, Accor had inked management agreements for a total of 42 properties in Asia, providing over 11,000 keys to its portfolio. With an additional 20 projects in the works for the remainder of the year, the total number of new keys is expected to surpass 15,000.
