Equalbase and Sunway break ground for $2.28 bil logistics facility in Tengah EC, Iskandar, Johor

Project 103°, a groundbreaking project jointly developed by Sunway Group and Equalbase, is set to achieve gross development value of over RM8 billion ($2.28 billion) in the Free Commercial Zone of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. The revolutionary project, located 5km from the Second Link, aims to create at least 13,000 job opportunities for the people of Johor.

At the groundbreaking ceremony held on Nov 28, Sunway’s founder and chairman Jeffrey Cheah said, “This addition to the vibrant ecosystem of our integrated township here [Sunway City Iskandar Puteri] is set to create at least 13,000 job opportunities for the people of Johor.”

Northmod, Equalbase’s investment management division, will manage funds for 103°. CEO Nicholas Bischoff of Equalbase commented, “Project 103° is not just another mega facility, but it signifies shared achievements, meaningful collaboration and a deepening connection with our customers and partners.”
