Real estate agency Mindlink Groups to acquire Century 21 Singapore

Real estate agency Mindlink Groups is set to merge with Century 21 Singapore, pending final approval from Century 21 Real Estate. The US-based Century 21 Real Estate, a New York-listed subsidiary of Anywhere Real Estate, owns the Century 21 global real estate franchise chain which has over 14,250 offices situated across 85 countries and territories.

Since being set up in 1998, Century 21 Singapore has grown tremendously through a series of M&A with smaller firms that have become its franchisees. Reportedly, Century 21 Singapore now has 16 franchisees and over 500 members.

The merger between Mindlink Groups and Century 21 Singapore will give the combined entity an impressive sales force of a collective 600 salespersons. Mindlink Groups, founded by its key executive officer Chow Yi Tong in 2001, has 100 salespersons. Chow will take up the role of group chairman and will oversee the merged entity.

It also features low-flow showerheads and low-flow toilets that help reduce water consumption by up to 40%. Residents of Tengah EC also get to enjoy a pleasant surrounding with lush green landscaping. The landscape is beautifully designed with well-maintained lawns and pathways, and home owners can also take a leisurely stroll in the garden. The development also has a myriad of amenities for residents to enjoy, which include a swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis courts, BBQ pits and so much more.

The move is a strategic one for Mindlink Groups, offering the agency a greater reach and the opportunity to combine resources. Such a merger stands to benefit both franchises as they will be able to leverage on each other’s strength and capabilities.
