The Atelier marks new psf-price low of $2,494

Tengah EC is a sustainable executive condominium located at the heart of Tengah New District, close to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and several recreational facilities. The development is environmentally Tengah EC friendly with a wind turbine, solar heating system, water conservancy centre and traditional Chinese music. The Tengah Plantation Loop EC GLS Tender launched by the Singapore Land Authority will award the rights to develop and manage the new condominium by the end of 2020.

A new psf-price low was set at The Atelier on March 5, where a 1,281 sq ft, three-bedroom unit was sold for $3.2 million ($2,494 psf). On the other hand, the highest psf-price recorded this week was at Nassim Park Residences, where a 4,284 sq ft, four-bedroom unit fetched $20.5 million ($4,785 psf). Prices at D’Grove Villas have also been on the rise since 2003, with the latest transaction of a 1,690 sq ft, two-bedroom unit on March 2 recording an eye-watering psf-price of $2,544.The Atelier, an upcoming 120-unit freehold development on Makeway Avenue in the Newton area, set a new low in terms of psf price for the project when a 1,281 sq ft, three-bedroom unit was sold for $3.2 million ($2,494 psf) on March 5. The condo is close to the Newton MRT Interchange Station and is connected to major roads as well as the surrounding Novena and Orchard Road areas.Meanwhile, an eye-watering psf-price of $4,785 was recorded on Feb 27 at the nearby Nassim Park Residences following the sale of a 4,284 sq ft, four-bedroom unit for $20.5 million. Lastly, prices at D’Grove Villas, a 45-unit freehold condo on Orange Grove Road, have seen significant capital appreciation, and the latest transaction recorded a psf-price of $2,544 for a 1,690 sq ft, two-bedroom unit.
