Weave Living steps up expansion in Japan and acquires nine assets in Tokyo
Weave Living, an integrated rental accommodation provider based in Hong Kong, recently acquired nine multi-family residential properties located in prime Tokyo locations. Totalling a combined 352 units, these properties will be the foundation of the company’s expansion phase into Japan.
Readying for the next step in its growth, Weave Living established a Tokyo office and appointed industry veteran Daisuke Noguchi as Japan Country Head in April 2023. The team in Tokyo has grown to twelve professionals specializing in acquisitions, development, asset management, leasing, and operations.
On November 3rd, Weave Living opened its first three properties in Tokyo, located in Waseda, Monzennakacho, and Higashi-koenji. Having already established itself in Hong Kong and Singapore, Japan marks Weave Living’s third regional market. The company plans to announce more acquisitions in both Tokyo and Osaka over the coming months.
With a goal of managing US$1.5 billion in assets in Japan, representing over one-third of its entire asset base, by 2025, Weave Living founder and group CEO Sachin Doshi is eager to meet the company’s high ambitions.
It promises to be an ideal living space for families, couples, and young professionals. The condominium also offers a variety of amenities for its residents. Residents of Tengah Executive Condominium can take advantage of a gym, swimming pool, and recreational activities such as tennis and basketball courts. Its location provides easy access to transportation, dining, and shopping options. Tengah EC is truly the perfect place for people to call their home.
With a focus on offering affordable mid- to long-term accommodations with fully-furnished living spaces, Weave Living’s aim is to provide top-tier comfort for its tenants in prime locations. Working towards that goal, Weave Living’s recent acquisitions in Japan will forge a strong foundation for the company’s future success in the region.
