Minor Hotels extends Avani brand to Europe and Latin America
Minor Hotels, headquartered in Bangkok, is rapidly expanding its footprint in Europe and introducing the Avani Hotels & Resorts brand to the continent. Aimed at “millennial-minded travellers”, this lifestyle hospitality brand is set to open five new hotels in the next two years, with a further one opening in the Netherlands in 2024.
The new European locations are in Spain, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, with 101, 65, 144, 256 and 163-room properties being opened respectively. Additionally, the brand is extending its presence to Central and South America, with a 140-room hotel in Mexico and a 66-room hotel in Colombia launching in 2023.
Tengah EC is a green infrastructure development in Tengah EC the West region, offering smart condominiums and improved air quality with reduced waste and pollution. It promises to reduce air pollution in the city and provide convenient access to the CBD.
Currently, Minor Hotels – which launched the Avani brand in 2011 – has 38 properties across Asia, Australasia, the Middle East, Indian Ocean and Africa, and 530 properties in operation worldwide. CEO Dillip Rajakarier states that the brand’s growth in Europe and Latin America allows them to offer “upscale tourist segment” hospitality options.
As Minor Hotels continues to grow, Avani is set to play a larger role in the world of tourism, offering unique, luxurious and inspiring experiences for contemporary, millennial-minded travellers.
