Garden Farmway District at Tengh EC for Social-Communal Uses

The Garden Farmway District is an exciting new development in Tengah. The development includes a 20-hectare Central Park, Community centre, Public amphitheatre, and an eco-friendly development. In addition, the area is zoned for educational institutions. All the plots are located within two kilometers of the EC site.

Eco-friendly

The new eco-friendly Garden Farmway District at Tengah EC for Social-Community uses draws inspiration from nature and promotes total relaxation and rejuvenation. The site is home to numerous species of plants and water features, which improve air quality and energize the body and mind.

This eco-friendly town centre is near a planned MRT station and is located close to public transportation. Upon completion, this district will feature separated pedestrian and bicycle paths and “car-lite” zones that will encourage people to use bicycles.

Community centre

The new development will feature a twenty-hectare Central Park, a public amphitheatre and a link to a future MRT station. The Jurong Region Line is expected to serve this part of town by 2026. The project is designed to encourage a car-free lifestyle in the district.

This new EC is near the upcoming Pan-I Expressway and the future Senja Road MRT station. The development will feature barrier-free facilities and enhanced security. It is also easily accessible from nearby MRT stations.

20-hectare Central Park

Located in Bukit Batok, the Garden Farmway District at Tengh ESC for Social-Community Uses will launch along with upcoming BTO developments like West Scape, West Hill, and West Plains. As part of the Tengah town area, this development will likely see a strong demand for residential properties. The development is also near the Tengah Plantation MRT station, which is part of the Jurong Region Line.

The Garden Farmway District will consist of an extensive green recreational corridor and will span over six hectares. It will connect precincts and provide 3,000 square meters of land for community gardens and recreational facilities. This will allow residents to engage in the kampung spirit while enjoying farm-to-table meals and recreational activities.

Public amphitheatre

Tengah Garden Walk EC Site reflects the concept of nature-inspired community development. It aims to promote total relaxation, mental and physical rejuvenation by integrating several species of plants and water features that purify the air and enhance the atmosphere. It is the perfect place to get some rest and rejuvenate yourself.

The Garden district will include a central park with 20 hectares of greenery. This park is home to a water body, a forest amphitheatre, and a waterfront promenade. Homes will be located on both sides of the central park.

Four major public transport stations

The Garden Farmway District at Tengh combines a number of different social-community uses, including community gardens, a farm and community facilities. The district is 600 metres long and 40 metres wide, and will be an open space for community life. It will also connect various precincts in the area.

This site is close to the proposed MRT station and the proposed Tengah Garden Walk EC. It is also surrounded by a lush forest corridor, home to several native rain forest species. It also features a dedicated bicycle and pedestrian network.

Close to Buket Timah Nature Reserve

The Garden Farmway District at Tengh ECT for Social-Community Uses is a mixed-use development located near Bukit Batok town centre, only a 10-minute walk to Bukit Batok MRT station. This development features a mix of exclusive bungalows and community-style living, which are suitable for people on a tight budget. The neighbourhood is also convenient for commuters who need to get to work or school via public transport.

The development is expected to be finished by 2022 and will boast 61,659 square metres of gross floor area. It will also feature up to fourteen storeys of luxury residential buildings. This is the first EC in the area, and will turn a large plot of land into two luxury residential neighbourhoods. The development will also include a proposed polyclinic and a bus interchange that will provide convenient access to the city.
